This policy explains how Woodbridge Coaching collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit this website or get in touch with us. We've tried to write it in plain English rather than legal jargon.
Woodbridge Coaching is a trading style of Woodbridge Accountants Limited (company registration number 08949273), registered in England. Our registered address is Suite 10, George House, 64 High Street, Tring, Herts HP23 4AF. For the purposes of data protection law, Woodbridge Accountants Limited is the "data controller" of the personal data described in this policy.
We only collect personal data that you choose to give us. This website does not have a contact form, so this typically happens when you email us, message us on social media, or otherwise get in touch to ask about coaching. The data we might collect includes:
If you go on to become a coaching client, we'll collect further information as part of that relationship (for example, through pre-coaching questionnaires or session notes). That information is covered by the confidentiality terms we agree with you separately, and is handled under the same data protection principles set out here.
We use your personal data to:
Our legal basis for using your data is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, and/or the performance of a contract where you become a client. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
This website does not use cookies, analytics software, or any advertising or tracking scripts. We don't track your visit or build a profile of you when you browse the site.
The one exception is that this site loads a typeface ("Inter") directly from Google Fonts' servers. As a technical part of that request, Google may process your IP address. Google does not use this to set cookies or track you across other sites for this purpose. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
If we ever add analytics, booking tools, or other cookie-based features in future, we'll update this policy and add a cookie consent banner at that point, as required by UK law.
We don't sell or rent your personal data to anyone. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us run our business (for example, our email or IT provider), but only where necessary and under appropriate confidentiality safeguards. We may also disclose data where we're required to by law.
We keep enquiry data only for as long as necessary to respond to you and follow up, and no longer than 24 months if no coaching relationship develops. If you become a client, records are retained for the period required by our professional and regulatory obligations, after which they are securely deleted.
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
